Our 2nd grade Class!

Welcome to our Second Grade Blog! This is set up to be a resource to parents in addition to the newsletter that you will receive each week. Please do not hesitate to contact me, as I believe communication between parents and teachers facilitates a child's most successful education. My room is also always open, you are welcome to come check out where your child learns!

This Week in 2nd grade

Second graders this week will be busy and learning a lot at 'camp'! We are kicking off our camping theme, which means that lessons in each subject area will have this theme incorporated through interactive activities. Your child will have the opportunity to learn about insects and bugs, directions and moving on a map, read fun stories about camping, and go on a scavenger hunt.
